Description
We will notify you when your bare root plants are ready approx. mid April. Bare root are best planted soon after pick up. Bare root asparagus can be planted approx. mid-late April in central MN, or when the ground is workable.
This winter hardy variety is also heat tolerant and shows resistance to rust. This is an heirloom variety!

Excellent freezing quality.
We recommend a soil pH level of 7.0 - 7.2 for asparagus plants.
Asparagus plants produce a light harvest in the 2nd year, a larger harvest the 3rd year, and a full harvest in subsequent years.
